Franck Bruneau earned an Engineer’s degree from SUPELEC and a Master’s degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also earned an MBA from INSEAD.
He held various operational positions in Primagaz Group, a leading independent energy distribution company active in more than 15 countries, and became President/CEO of the Group in 1998.
Then he joined SHV Holdings N.V., a private Dutch Group, and became Executive Board Member of this company in 2004. He was responsible for the various energy activities throughout the world as well as the scrap metal recycling businesses in Germany and the United States.

Franck Bruneau went back to Paris in 2011 and founded Vermeer Investissement, a company specializing in investments and consultancy in the energy markets. He has realized various investments so far and advises several private-equity firms.
He is also Board Member or Member of the Strategy Committee at E5T, EPSILINE, AGORA OPINION..
As a Board Member of the MIT Club de France, he organizes conference on energy topics inviting prestigious speakers.
He has been a French Foreign Trade Advisor form 2009 to 2018.
